Sponsorship overview

Sponsoring a Lebanese family or one of our Teta w Jeddo means much more than a sum of money sent every month: it is also forging an emotional bond with lasting effects. By sponsoring, you make it possible to secure the situation of a vulnerable household, and you ensure its complete and total nourishment for the entire duration of the sponsorship. To perpetuate the situation of the sponsored family, and to be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to make a commitment for a period of one year. In return, TETA w JEDDO puts you in contact with the family you sponsor and enables you to follow the evolution of their situation via personalized newsletters. How does it work?

Choose a family to sponsor

You can find out about the families we help in the "Families" tab of the website. The size of the sponsorship differs depending on the number of people in the household, and the type of help we need to provide them.

Choose the framework of your engagement

We support you in this commitment by taking into account your preferences regarding the relationship you want to have with your sponsored family. To be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to make a commitment for a period of one year.

Get in touch with your sponsored family

We support you in your first exchanges with your sponsored family, by offering you help with communication and a translation service. Throughout your discussions, we ensure the protection of your personal data in compliance with the GDPR law.

Benefit from your sponsorship benefits

As a sponsor, you can contact your sponsored family and follow the evolution of their situation via personalized newsletters.

You also have access to exclusive content (goodies, news on current events in Lebanon, videos on political, religious, historical subjects, ...).

Our different sponsorships

The cost of a sponsorship can be divided into two categories:
i) The general costs are common to all the people we help and amount to 25$ per person per month (salaries of the association's employees, rent of our premises and electricity, benzin for deliveries, organization of visits,...).
ii) The rest depends on each person. We distribute to some people monthly boxes, to others weekly boxes, or even daily cooked meals. Some of our beneficiaries receive several types of assistance.

Weekly grocery bag

Some families have too little resources to buy what they need to eat, so we distribute food packages to them (one per week) to enable them to cook their own meals. This sponsorship costs 170€ per month and per person assisted. To be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to make a commitment for a period of one year.
Sponsor Teta or Jeddo

Groceries and daily meals

Some people are too isolated and / or dependent to be able to cook. We realized that it was essential to provide them with already cooked meals, in addition to weekly grocery bags containing dairy, fruits and vegetables among other things. This assistance is what we have been providing since the creation of the project. This sponsorship costs 220€ per month and per person assisted. To be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to make a commitment for a period of one year.
Sponsor a family

Classic donation

The classic donation, one-off or by direct debit, is a good option for those who do not have the financial capacity or the time to sponsor a family. Donations will help households without a sponsor, and will ensure the proper functioning of the association.
