Sponsorship Presentation

Sponsoring a Lebanese family or one of our Teta w Jeddo means much more than a sum of money sent every month: it also means creating an emotional bond with lasting effects. By sponsoring, you help secure the situation of a vulnerable household, and you ensure its complete and total food for the entire duration of the sponsorship. To perpetuate the situation of the sponsored family, and to be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to commit for a period of one year. In return, TETA w JEDDO commits to allowing you to contact your godchildren and follow the evolution of their situation via personalized newsletters. How does it work?

Choose a family to sponsor

You can find out which families we help in the "Families" tab of the website. The amount of sponsorship varies depending on the number of people in the household, and the type of help we need to provide them.

Choose the framework for your commitment

We support you in this commitment by taking into account your preferences regarding the relationship you want to have with your godchild(ren). In order to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to commit for a period of one year.

Get in touch with your referrals

We support you in your first exchanges with your referrals, by offering you help in writing your letters and a translation service. Throughout your exchanges, we ensure the protection of your personal data in compliance with the GDPR law.

Take advantage of your sponsor benefits

As a sponsor, you can contact your referrals and follow the progress of their situation via personalized newsletters.

You also have access to exclusive content (goodies, news on current events in Lebanon, videos on political, religious, historical subjects, etc.).

Our different sponsorships

Donate to TETA w JEDDO and get a 66% tax deduction

The cost of a sponsorship includes two expenses:


1) General costs are common to all the people we help and amount to 25 euros per person per month (salaries of the association's employees, rental of our premises and electricity, petrol for deliveries, organisation of visits, etc.).


2) The rest depends on each person. We distribute monthly baskets to some, weekly baskets to others, or even daily cooked meals. Some of our beneficiaries receive several types of aid.

Weekly basket

The communion of Lebanese families around a meal is very valuable. So, we distribute food packages to them (one per week) to allow them to cook their own meals. This sponsorship costs €60 per month and per person helped. To be able to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to commit for a period of one year.
I sponsor a Teta or a Jeddo

Meals and Basket

Some people are too isolated and/or dependent to be able to cook. We realized that it was essential to provide them with ready-cooked meals. This assistance is what we have been providing since the creation of the project. In addition, we provide them with packages with dairy products and fruits and vegetables. This sponsorship costs €100 per month and per person helped. In order to create a long-term relationship, we encourage you to commit for a period of one year.

Classic gift

The classic donation, one-off or by direct debit, is a good option for those who do not have the financial capacity or the time necessary to sponsor a family. Donations will help households without a sponsor, and will ensure the proper functioning of the association.
